ONLA is a clothing rental app for smartphones for anyone who loves their clothes too much to get rid of but can’t find enough time to wear them so they can let others rent them in the meantime.

ONLA allows fashion lovers to build their closet full of new, in style trends for others to get a chance to love their clothes as much as they do. They can then hunt down that one piece they need to make their outfit perfect but won’t be needing again using the search and filters page. Then when their done they have a chance to rave about their love of the item by reviewing it, so others know how others experience with the item was.

I created ONLA by focusing on a problem that I and many other women have when deciding to buy clothes, “I love it, but will I wear it enough”. When I decided renting your closet to other women having the same issue could solve your problem and earn you some extra spending money, I began creating a content, interaction, and sitemap. From there I designed wireframes and began building my app on Adobe XD. I then created a moldboard to decide how I wanted my app to look visually for consumers. I used a color palette that was visually interesting and typefaces that were classic and complimentary. The buttons and icons were straightforward and allowed the user to understand the app very easily. After applying these cosmetic changes to my Adobe XD file, I had solved a problem that many people have and can benefit from a solution.
